Research Interests: | Main areas of interests are behavior, neuroscience, and neuropharmacology.
Previous research includes: the implementation of a rodent model of Multiple Sclerosis known as Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE) and the use of caloric restriction and glutamate release inhibition to ameliorate cognitive and clinical impairment, and additionally, working with rodents on the Chronic Unpredictable Stress (CUS) model to delineate the roles of the dorsal and vental hippocampus regarding Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). |
